Proleukin® Dosing Information

Plan for a 19-day commitment to see if Proleukin can help

Proleukin is given in a hospital by an experienced treatment team once every 8 hours over a 5-day period, followed by a 9-day rest period and then another 5-day cycle. Proleukin is given by intravenous infusion, and each infusion takes about 15 minutes.

While this is the typical Proleukin schedule, it may be changed by your treatment team based on your individual needs. For example, if certain side effects develop, your team may decide to skip the next dose.

Speak to a survivor about their experience with Proleukin.

If Proleukin is helping after 1 course, your doctor may or may not decide to give you 1 or 2 more courses. If Proleukin is not helping, your doctor may switch you to another therapy.
